Red Of The Woods

Title: Red Of The Woods
Author: Lana Axe
Publisher: Axelord Publications
ASIN: B00OL2ZI1E
Pages: 29

An evil heart thirsts for vengeance in this dark version of Little Red Riding Hood.

Accused of witchcraft, Erthel and her granddaughter, Red, are forced into exile. Taking refuge in the woods, the old woman plots her revenge. Calling on the dark magic she abandoned years ago, she places a curse on the young girl—one that will punish the townspeople for sending her away.

Lana Axe lives in the Missouri countryside surrounded by dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. She spends most of her free time daydreaming about elves, magic, and far-away lands.

This is such a unique twist on an old classic. I truly didn't expect to get as caught up in Red Of The Woods as I did. Red and her grandmother Erthel have been accused of witchcraft and take refuge in the woods. Here Erthel plots her revenge not realizing the consequences it could cause.

From page one you are completely hooked in and have to read until you find out what happens. It was an easy to read story as each sentence flowed into the next. I didn't expect a few of the twists and turns that were thrown but way but overall I really enjoyed Red Of The Woods.
