What's Up Wednesday

This is a new blog hop I found on another reviewer's blog and have decided to join in.

What I'm Reading:
I am currently reading A Brush Of Violet by Corinne Alexander. She's a new author and so far I really like her story. It's easy flowing and definitely fun to read. I am looking forward to finishing it and writing up my review later today. I have found that I really like Corbin's Bend and the community that the author's have come together to bring us.

What I'm Writing:
Currently, I am not writing anything. Lately, my heart just hasn't been in. I am more than likely going to get back into writing fan fiction and flash fiction but I think my days as becoming an author are done because the passion isn't there anymore.

What Works For Me:
I love to read when I have easy listening music playing in the background. It's almost like therapy for me because it's just me, the book, and the music in the background. I work better with noise, I can't stand too much quiet.

What Else Is New:
I have quite a few reviews that I need to get posted up today and some reading that I'd like to get accomplished. Tonight will mainly just be a catch up day on my reading as I really have been wanting to and I have no shows on.

Last night was an intense episode of Sons Of Anarchy and I am sorry to see it come to a close in just four short episodes.

Be sure to visit Jaime Morrow and see what everyone else is up to!

  1. I'm sorry to hear the passion for your writing is waning. Hopefully writing some FF might kickstart your muse back into gear.

And yes to easy listening! I can't work with quiet, because my brain tends to get a bit loud, so I keep it intact with some classical music if lyrics are getting too much. Have a wonderful week!

  2. I was just thinking the other day that fan fiction would be so fun to play with! Best of luck and let us know how it goes :)

  3. Yeah, you can't write if you're heart isn't in it, though I'm sorry to hear about that. Hope you can find something creative to make that really inspires you, and it's great to meet you!
