Grant brings us on a journey different from other erotica authors in the industry. Not only do we get to revisit Brianna and Markus but we are also getting into a new relationship. I loved that she allowed us to see what happens with Brianna and Markus rather than leaving us hanging in Wanting It All. The emotions are intense and sometimes you'll want to scream at Lukus but the story as whole is well written and brings the reader in. This one you'll have to read in one session.

I couldn't put this down once I started it. Never read anything by this author but this will not be the last book I read of hers. She has the ability to make her characters come right off the page and into your mind that you need to know more about them.

Devon has lost her parents and instead of dealing with her grief she drinks to the point it is how she deals with all the mistakes she makes in her life. That is until she takes a Supernatural class and meets her hot professor Matthews. As soon as she walks into his class , she is attracted to him but doesn't understand why.

Professor Mattews has a secret that he has kept to himself. Very few people know this secret. He takes Devon under his wing and makes her realize when you do something wrong there always is a consequence. That would be a spanking by the professor. Devon is a smart mouthed girl who doesn't think before she speaks and the professor gives her discipline. Devon realizes she crave this discipline. I think she does wrong at times just to get the professor to reprimand her in his special way. I love both characters because of how each need something the other one can give but it takes awhile for them both to realize this. Devon bares more than just her real self to the professor.

The more the professor takes care of Devon, the more feelings arise. The sex between them is awesome! It's almost animalistic at times with such a need that both want cured. But then there are times when it's take it easy and enjoy each other. A little bit of both is what I crave in a book and this book hits it exactly!

Do you need a book that makes you wonder what will happen next, then this is one for you.

Then one day he does it and schedules a meeting with Ava. Ava teaches him how to be submissive. Although short, West gives us a nitty gritty right down to it story. I enjoyed this and wouldn't mind seeing more of Ava and Hank.

Weekend Love Slave: Wanda has always dreamed of being a sex slave for a weekend but when she gets what she wished, will it be too much? Bart brings her over to his cousin Pete's house and tells her she will be servicing both of them for the weekend, no excuses. I enjoyed this although some parts felt a bit intense. When going it to read this one keep an open mind.

Pick-Up Artist: Peter is your traditional playboy: He get what he wants when he wants it. When he sees Nita at the bar he knows she'll be his catch of the night. He proceeds to bring her back to his place for a night of BDSM, bondage, and much more. This story felt rushed to me and it didn't capture my attention as much.

The Roofer: Being woken up before you're ready to be awake isn't ever fun that is unless there is a hot roofer to stare at. Getting lost fantasizing Melinda is caught in the nude by Raul. He bravely asks for a drink of water and one things leads to another. After not having sex for two months she welcomes Raul into her bed. This was my favorite story by far. I was captured from the first few pages and couldn't stop reading until I finished.

Overall Review: I really enjoyed these four stories. They are quick and to the point leaving no waiting in between. Some of the stories felt rushed while others felt just right. I look forward to reading more of West's work in the future.

Bianca caught my attention from the first few pages. I wanted to know more about her story and her relationship with Aspen and Dorian. Two lovers on opposite sides of the spectrum. It is the eve of Bianca's wedding ceremony and she must make a choice. 

Does she stay with the gentle lover or the lover that takes without asking?

This is my first read from Cara and I cannot wait to see what book two in the Sanguine Erotica has to offer. In Vampire Princess Bride, we are given a story of a woman torn between two men who have held her heart for as long as she can remember. We are given a look into her struggle to pick one man. I also liked that we are given a look into the emotions that Aspen and Dorian are feeling.

In this story, you follow Josey Tate. A little girl stuck in an adult's body. She struggles to maintain everyday life because she wants to be carefree. Her boss notices this and suggests she makes an appointment with Mr. Green.

Mr. Green remains a mystery throughout this story, you never really get a look into the company he works for or the business he maintains. He evaluates Josey and sets her up with a Daddy, Richard Black. She only meets this Daddy nightly and doesn't get to see him outside of the building.

We don't get into Richards head too much, we get small snippets here and there. I think it's essential when reading a Dom/sub story to get inside both characters heads. To know how he is feeling as well as she is. He is growing in this story as well so I think we should have been able to get inside his head more.

There wasn't a lot of age play to me which I think there should have been more of because we are shown that Josey is very much a little girl. I felt like this story was a great concept but executed poorly. I would love to hear more about Josey's past and more about Mr. Green's company. I love a good build up, lots of detail leading into the story and knowing where our characters came to be. It was a great concept, I would have just liked more.

This is the thought provoking tale of me. A teenager who battled through school whilst his mum had Cancer. 

It shows you the true effect of Cancer on the whole family and not just the person who has it. 

It shows that only years later I finally came to terms with what had happened.

 In just a few pages we are let in Andy's world as he struggles to maintain school and be there for his mother who is struggling with cancer. This story shows a different point of view. It gives us a look into the family's views and how they are feeling about everything going on.

Towards the end of the novel Andy hits a subject that is close to home for myself and many others: Anti-depressants. He explains the harsh effects and how difficult it is to adapt to the changes that they bring about with your body.

Andy's mother should be extremely proud of him for having the courage to give his side. To show us what it feels like to watch your family go through such a difficult disease and come out strong.
