Once again Walk Of Shame dragged me through the ringer. I was swept up in this story of love, pain, loss, and fear of coming back. Hemy messed up, he has lost Onyx because he couldn't pull himself out of a slump long enough to realize everything he wanted was standing right in front of him.
Onyx has had all she can take. She has been understanding to Hemy and his messed up family but she couldn't take being put second any longer. When Hemy appears back into her life can she move forward or will the past keep its clutches around her heart?
Hemy's story gripped my heart and I knew I had to finish it. I loved how Hemy changed and realized his love for Onyx was always there. Seeing Hemy fight to make Onyx remember the good in their relationship gives all people home. Even the most damaged relationships can be saved.
